Just 4 U Yard Card Policies
Rental and Reservation Policies:
For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.
We reserve the right to decline rentals to any location in which we feel is unsafe for any reason. Should this occur, we will contact you as soon as it is determined to be unsafe.
Once the signs are placed by Just 4 U Yard Cards, moving them is prohibited. Please DO NOT touch, move, or adjust our signs for any reason. Contact us if there is an issue and/or a need to have them removed earlier.
Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items remain the property and business of Just 4 U Yard Cards. It is best to notify the honoree and/or occupants to not damage the display.
Please protect our display from any damage that may be caused due to flying debris from lawnmowers, string trimmers, dogs, etc. If you plan on having your lawn serviced, please make sure it is completed prior to having your lawn signs delivered. Watering the lawn within a couple days of delivery, if it has not recently rained, is requested.
Please do not attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against our signs the balloon may burst and our sign may become damaged.
You will be invoiced for missing or damaged lawn display items. A full setup can cost up to $500, so we ask you to please take care of our signs. There will be a $15 fee per letter/sign lost or damaged.
We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please DO NOT pull up the signs from the ground.
We use our best judgment regarding sign placement to ensure optimal visibility and a pleasing backdrop for photographs. If there is a specific spot you would like for the signs to be placed, please notify us when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request, however, we cannot guarantee exact placement. We are unable to stake our signs in gravel, concrete, flower beds, mulch, etc. We do not set up in backyards.
We will place a small business sign in your yard with our contact information. It will be placed off to the side of the display. Please do not move, remove or hide it. We will also take photographs of the display (which may include a picture of the property in the background) for marketing and social media.
Payment:
Once you submit your order, we will tentatively confirm availability and pricing and send you an invoice within 24 hours. If you are in agreement with the invoice, please submit your full payment to us within 24 hours to secure your date as definite.
You will be invoiced an additional 24-hour fee if the sign retrieval is obstructed or prevented in any way.
Weather Policy:
We will attempt to set up our lawn display rain or shine. However, in the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays. Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, hurricanes, heavy rain, high winds and any other Act of God that would put our staff or our lawn display in harm’s way. If it is determined by Just 4 U Yard Cards to be unsafe, we will attempt to reschedule, if that is not possible a full refund will be given.
Cancellation:
If you must cancel your booking prior to 48-hours before set-up, you can choose to receive 1/2 of your booking rate as a refund or leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date to be used within 6 months, based on our availability. If you do not rebook within 6 months, the fee will be forfeited.
Refund Policy:
No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address. A $50.00 re-delivery fee will be charged if we must return to remove, move and re-set up a greeting at the correct address.
No refunds will be given due to the homeowner, HOA, management or similar boards requesting us to remove the lawn display.
No refunds will be given due to being denied access to a gated community. A $50.00 re-delivery fee will be charged if we must return once access is granted. Rental time will not be extended.
No refunds will be given due to the presence of any animals that prevent the display from being set up.
No refunds will be given for any circumstances that are out of Just 4 U Yard Cards’ control that prevents us from setting up the display.
Important:
All yard card rental reservations and rates are usually quoted for one (1) DAY (approx. 24 hours). We install greetings any time after 8:00 PM and pickup any time after 8:00 PM the following evening. We cannot guarantee a specific set up or removal time for displays, but we will do our best to accommodate a special request.
At least one adult, at the location of delivery, must be informed of our scheduled delivery and that our staff will be in the yard setting up for the big surprise, probably in the dark! It would be most helpful if a light is left on so we can easily confirm the address.
Greeting Policy:
We spread happiness and cheer so we will not display any messages that contain lewd or disrespectful language that is not positive in nature.
Hold Harmless Agreement:
By agreeing to have Just 4 U Yard Cards participate in your event, you agree that Just 4 U Yard Cards and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up, duration of the yard cards in place or during the removal of any rental.
